so simultaneously," says Dr. Walton. "Now, virtually everyone with vision problems is a candidate for LASIK."

The surgery, which takes about six minutes per eye, is over within 15 minutes.
"There is no pain to speak of and minimal discomfort following surgery," says Dr. Walton. "Patients will notice hourly improvement, and 20-20 vision or better by the next day."
